CoverSutra visual style for Windows XP:

The style is slightly modified so I hope that you all will like it! ;)

Latest update: I was finished technically my work on shell style now, also I was added 4 variations with coversutra logo!

I presume that all those people which simply from some reason don’t like to use styles with Apple logo, will be pleased now!

I already downloaded your theme. It was really great and cool. The texture and graphic is very nice.

BUT!
My Start > All programs list has been disorder. "All programs" overing my 1024 x 768 specs. Can u explain why this happen and solve this problem fast as possible. I will redownload this theme later.

I didn't test style on low resolutions. So, maybe there is a problem with start menu in that situation but I can't fix that now since I'm not using windows anymore. But if I remember correct, you have option menu from where you can make icons smaller in start menu, so I suggest you to do that. Perhaps that will solve your problem...

hi vladimir. i installed your theme for xp. i got a question. in Display Properties, i set 'selected items' to the color red. say i got 2 windows, active and inactive. and say i select the active window where items in the active window are highlighted in red. but when i select the inactive window, the color of the highlighted items in the active window (now turned inactive) turn to a different color. how can i keep the color of highlighted items from changing when i select different windows?

You can't! When you change color scheme you change it for all windows. Temporary you can see previous color on windows which are inactive, but when you activate them windows will change color immediately. That change is permanent! So, this means, that you can’t keep colors from previous scheme on some windows or other elements. Things doesn’t work that way… sorry! :juggle:

I l ♥ dark themes (coversutra XP) but there is problem with it ↓
sorry to say, but there are faults in this visual style
- in inactive window the font in the menu bar turns completely black u can't see anything!!!!!!!!
- i dont no way, but in some drives and folders instead of white the font color is in black ?????. i dont know whats gone wrong
help me in this things.
- as usually dark themes doesnt work properly with application and 3d objects.
hope u fix this things soon I ♥ this theme and i want it . when u fix it please reply me.[link]

I am afraid that's not going to happen, mostly because I'm not using windows anymore... So, I'm pretty much sure that I'm done with skinning...

Other than that, I can only add that you won't find dark theme for windows that are working properly. Fonts problem that you mentioned is the first thing but there are other similar problems, in certain programs, which are using they own skins or parts... In short, if you like dark themes and if you want to use them, then be ready to make certain sacrifices...
